- RSS
(Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and
distributing Web content, such as news headlines. With a RSS reader, you
can view data feeds from various news sources including headlines,
summaries, links to full stories.
- Click on 'Subscribe RSS' and a page similar to above will be shown. First, go to a Website that offers RSS feeds, e.g. http://www.nytimes.com/ . Then, find an icon like this
RSS and click on it to open a page e.g. http://www.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/index.html.
- Next, select any news and click on icon to open an XML file. Copy the URL of an XML file, e.g. http://www.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/nyt/Business.xml and paste it in the RSS URL textbox.
Subsequently, click on 'Subscribe' button. Click on upper or lower arrow icon to sort records in ascending or descending order, edit and remove RSS URL easily to unsubscribe.
